Mike Simon is a founder and principal of SNR Systems and has more than twenty years of finance, contract, business operations, and sales experience with technology vendors and large system integrators in the Federal marketplace.
Prior to joining SNR, Mr. Simon was Vice President of Ericsson Federal Inc.’s U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and Civilian sales. In that capacity, Mr. Simon was responsible for managing the sales and engineering staff and established, developed, and maintained critical relationships with many DoD customers, technology partners, channel partners, and system integrators. Prior to that, Mr. Simon was the Director of Federal Business Operations for FORE Systems Federal (acquired by Marconi), a wholly owned subsidiary of FORE Systems established to address DoD security requirements. In conjunction with the parent corporation, Mr. Simon established an operating structure and was responsible for FORE Systems Federal’s business operations.
Before joining FORE Systems, Mr. Simon spent five years at Netrix Corp., a manufacturer of IT switching equipment. A director at Netrix, Mr. Simon established the contracts department and negotiated numerous agreements for the sale of products to the Federal government and first-tier systems integrators.
Before joining Netrix, Mr. Simon spent five years with Computer Sciences Corp. in its Network Systems Division’s finance department where he managed program, financial, and pricing operations.
Mr. Simon received a BA in Political Science from George Washington University in 1983 and an MBA (concentration in Finance and Investments) from George Washington University in 1985. He has been an active member of AFCEA since 2000.
