Dave Nett, a founder and principal of SNR Systems, has more than 21 years of experience in account management, sales, systems engineering, and technical support with technology vendors and large system integrators in the Federal marketplace.
Prior to SNR Systems, Mr. Nett was an Account Executive for Ericsson Federal Inc. (previously Marconi Federal, Inc.). He was responsible for all Ericsson Federal activities related to Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), U.S. Air Force Programs, the Pentagon, and the unified commands of SOCOM, CENTCOM, TRANSCOM, STRATCOM, SOUTHCOM, and EUCOM. Previously Mr. Nett was a Senior Systems Engineer for the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) group within FORE Systems Federal (acquired by Marconi). His primary focus was on the U.S. Air Force’s special programs and communications infrastructure upgrade projects, such as CITS.
Prior to joining FORE Systems Federal, Mr. Nett was a systems engineer at Electronic Data Systems, where he worked on the National Guard’s GuardNet XXI, focusing on e-mail systems, servers, DNS architecture, and the installation and engineering of its ATM network.
Before Electronic Data Systems, Mr. Nett performed network and system integration activities for USI, a systems integrator working on site at the Pentagon supporting the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Technology, now OUSD (ATL). Mr. Nett provided a variety of services including network engineering and installation, server design and support, and technical support for executives.
Mr. Nett received a BS in Business Administration from East Carolina University in 1994 with a concentration in Decision Science. Additionally, Mr. Nett has completed significant coursework in information technology, computer science, electronics, and communications systems. Mr. Nett has been a member of AFCEA since 2000.
